Will my existing Printavo data import correctly?

Yes. Our wizard reads Printavo standard CSV export format and automatically maps company names, contact info, order numbers, statuses, line items, and invoice data. You can run a dry-run first to preview exactly what will be imported before any data is written.

What Printavo data can I import?

Customers (company name, contact, email, phone, address, tax settings) and Orders/Jobs (order number, status, due date, PO number, line items, pricing, notes). Invoice records are also created automatically from order data.

What if I have thousands of records?

Our importer handles up to 5,000 customers and 10,000 orders per import batch. For larger shops, just split your CSV and run multiple imports.

Can I run Printavo and Kontrol side-by-side while transitioning?

Absolutely. Many shops run both for 2–4 weeks while training staff. The import is additive — it will not overwrite existing records.

Do I lose any data in the migration?

No customer or order data is lost. Some Printavo-specific configuration (custom statuses, certain integrations) may need to be re-configured, but all transactional data comes across cleanly.
