How to Hire an Artist on KreatorHub™
Find and hire a freelance artist for your next screen print, embroidery, or DTF project.
Browsing artists and gigs
Go to kontraktr.io/kreatorhub to browse available artists and their gig listings. Filter by category (e.g. Color Separations, Embroidery Digitizing), price range, delivery time, and artist tier. Each listing shows the artist's rating, number of completed orders, and starting price.
Placing an order
- 1Click on a gig listing to see full details, pricing tiers, and the artist's portfolio
- 2Select the package tier that fits your project (Basic, Standard, or Premium)
- 3Click "Order Now" and describe your project requirements
- 4Complete payment — funds are held in escrow until you approve the deliverable
Be as specific as possible when describing your project. Include garment colors, number of ink colors, file format requirements, and any reference images.
Communication
Once an order is placed, an in-order messaging thread opens between you and the artist. Use this to share reference files, clarify requirements, and discuss revisions. Contact information (emails, phone numbers, social handles) is automatically filtered from messages to keep transactions on-platform.
Receiving deliverables
When the artist submits their work, you receive a notification. Review the deliverable and either approve it (funds release to the artist) or request a revision. Each gig includes a set number of revision rounds — additional rounds beyond the base count are billed at the artist's overage rate.
Leaving a review
After approving the deliverable, you can rate the artist on a 5-star scale with sub-ratings for quality, communication, and timeliness. Reviews are public and help other shop owners find the best artists.
