How to Apply as a KreatorHub™ Artist
Step-by-step guide to applying as a freelance artist on the KreatorHub™ marketplace.
What is KreatorHub™?
KreatorHub™ is Kontrol™'s built-in artist marketplace — a Fiverr/Upwork-style platform where freelance artists offer screen print design, color separations, embroidery digitizing, DTF/DTG prep, vector illustration, typography, photo editing, mockup design, and general graphic design services. Shop owners browse, hire, and pay artists without leaving Kontrol™.
Who can apply?
Any freelance designer or artist can apply. You do not need a Kontrol™ shop account. KreatorHub™ supports 9 specialization categories: Screen Print Design, Color Separations, Embroidery Digitizing, DTF/DTG Prep, Vector Illustration, Typography & Lettering, Photo Editing for Print, Mockup Design, and General Graphic Design.
How to apply
- 1Go to kontraktr.io/kreatorhub and click "Apply as Artist"
- 2Fill in your display name, bio, and portfolio links
- 3Select your specialization categories (up to 9)
- 4Upload portfolio samples showing your best work
- 5Submit your application for admin review
Strong applications include at least 3 portfolio samples and a detailed bio explaining your experience with decorated apparel artwork.
The vetting process
After you submit, a Kontrol™ admin reviews your application. Your account starts at PENDING status. Once approved, you are promoted to VERIFIED. As you complete orders and earn positive reviews, you can advance to PRO and eventually ELITE tier — each tier unlocks higher visibility in search results and a trust badge on your profile.
After approval
Once verified, you can create gigs (service listings), set your pricing, and start accepting orders. You will need to complete Stripe Connect onboarding so you can receive payouts. Navigate to your Artist Dashboard at /kreatorhub/dashboard to manage everything.
