Quick Start Guide
1. Set up your shop profile
Go to Settings → General and fill in your shop name, address, phone, and email. This info appears on invoices, work orders, and automated emails sent to your customers.
2. Connect Stripe for online payments
Go to Settings → Integrations → Stripe and click "Connect Stripe". Your customers will be able to pay invoices online through a secure Stripe Checkout page — you don't need to handle card details.
3. Create your first customer
Go to Customers → New Customer. Add their name, email, and phone number. Kontrol™ will generate a unique portal link for them automatically.
4. Create your first job
Click "New Job" in the top bar. Pick the customer, describe the job, set the due date, and save. The job starts in Quote status. Work it through the pipeline as it progresses.
5. Send a quote or invoice
Open the job, go to the Invoice tab, create a line-item invoice, and hit Send. Your customer gets an email with a link to view and pay online. You'll be notified when they pay.
