What is AssetLab™?
AssetLab™ is Kontrol™'s built-in store where you can buy and sell design assets — mockup templates, artwork packs, garment blanks, and more. Assets are created by other screen printers and professional designers, so everything is purpose-built for the industry. AssetLab™ uses a hybrid marketplace model: you can purchase individual assets ($5–$50 each, keep forever) or subscribe to AssetLab™ Pro for $29.99/month to get unlimited downloads from the Pro Library.
Browsing assets
Go to AssetLab™ from the sidebar. You can filter by category (Templates, Artwork, Fonts, etc.) or use the search bar. Each listing shows a preview image, price, seller name, star rating, and a "Pro" badge if the asset is available in the Pro Library. Pro Library assets appear with priority placement in search results.
Individual purchases vs. Pro Library
Every asset in AssetLab™ can be purchased individually for a one-time price ($5–$50). You keep the asset forever — no subscription required. Alternatively, assets that sellers have opted into the Pro Library can be downloaded at no extra cost by AssetLab™ Pro subscribers. All active Kontrol™ subscribers also get 5 free Pro Library downloads per month.
If you only need a few assets per month, the 5 free Pro Library downloads included with your Kontrol™ subscription may be enough. Subscribe to AssetLab™ Pro ($29.99/mo) if you need unlimited access.
Purchasing an asset
Click any listing to see the full preview and description. Hit "Buy" to purchase via Stripe Checkout. Once payment completes, the asset appears in your Files library and can be used in the Mockup Editor immediately. For Pro Library assets, Pro subscribers can click "Download" instead of "Buy" — no additional charge.
Free assets are available too — just click "Add to Library" with no payment required.
Using purchased assets
Open the Mockup Editor on any job and click the AssetLab™ panel on the right. Your purchased templates appear under "My Library". Click one to load it onto the canvas — then add your artwork on top.
How to apply as a seller
If you want to sell your own templates or artwork, go to AssetLab™ → "Become a Seller". Fill out the application form with your shop name, portfolio link, and a brief description of what you plan to sell. Applications are reviewed within 2 business days.
Sellers earn 80% of each sale. Kontrol™ handles payment processing and delivery automatically. Sellers can also opt assets into the Pro Library for increased exposure and earn from the Pro subscription revenue pool.
