Using the Mockup Editor
What is the mockup editor?
The mockup editor lets you place your artwork on a digital garment image (shirt, hoodie, hat, etc.) to show the customer a preview of their order. It's built right into Kontrol™ — no Photoshop needed.
Creating a mockup
Open a job and click the Mockup tab. Choose a garment template from the library or upload your own blank garment photo. Upload your artwork file (PNG with transparent background works best). Drag, resize, and position the artwork on the garment.
Sending a mockup for approval
Once the mockup looks right, save it. The mockup automatically appears in the customer's portal. You can also trigger an email or SMS notification (via Automations) to let them know their mockup is ready for review.
Revisions
If a customer requests a revision, you'll get a notification with their notes. Update the mockup in the editor, save it, and the portal will show the new version automatically.
