Color Info & Pantone Matching
How to use the color panel in Kleanr™ and KloudSeps™ to view hex, RGB, CMYK values and find the closest Pantone match.
Why Pantone matching matters
In screen printing, you need to know exactly which ink to mix. Pantone is the industry standard color system — every ink supplier understands Pantone numbers. Kleanr™ and KloudSeps™ automatically find the closest Pantone match for every color in your artwork so you can order ink with confidence.
Using the color info panel
In the Kleanr™ editor or KloudSeps™ channel panel, tap on any color swatch to open the color info panel. You will see: • Hex code (e.g., #E63946) • RGB values (e.g., R: 230, G: 57, B: 70) • CMYK values (e.g., C: 0, M: 75, Y: 70, K: 10) • Closest Pantone match (e.g., Pantone 185 C) The Pantone match is approximate — always confirm with a physical swatch book for critical color accuracy.
Color merge and delete
In Kleanr™, you can simplify your palette by merging similar colors. Drag one color swatch onto another to combine them — the preview updates instantly. You can also delete colors you do not need. Both operations support undo/redo (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z).
Merge colors that are visually similar but were detected as separate — this reduces your screen count and simplifies production.
Smart color count detection
When you upload artwork, Kleanr™ analyzes the image and suggests the optimal number of colors. This is especially helpful for artwork where the color count is not obvious (e.g., gradients that could be reduced to 4, 6, or 8 spots). You can always override the suggestion and set your own target.
