Getting Started with Kalkulator™
Download the Kalkulator™ mobile app, create your first quote, and connect it to your Kontrol™ account for seamless sync.
What is Kalkulator™?
Kalkulator™ is a companion mobile app built for screen printers who need to build quotes on the go. Whether you're at a trade show, a customer meeting, or standing at the press, Kalkulator™ lets you punch in quantities, colors, and garment types and get an accurate price in seconds. It works standalone or syncs with your Kontrol™ account.
Step 1 — Download the app
Kalkulator™ is available on both iOS and Android. Search for 'Kalkulator™ by Kontrol™' in the App Store or Google Play Store. The app is free to download. You can use the basic calculator without an account, but syncing to Kontrol™ requires an active subscription.

- 2Search for 'Kalkulator™ by Kontrol™'
- 3Tap Install and wait for the download to complete
- 4Open the app and tap 'Get Started'
Step 2 — Create your first quote
The home screen shows a blank quote builder. Tap 'New Quote' to start. Select a garment type (t-shirt, hoodie, tank, etc.), enter the quantity, choose the number of ink colors, and pick your print locations (front, back, sleeves). Kalkulator™ calculates the per-piece price and total instantly based on your pricing matrix.
Start with a real order you already know the price of. Compare Kalkulator™'s estimate to your actual quote — if they match, your matrix is dialed in. If they don't, adjust your rates in Settings.
Step 3 — Connect to Kontrol™
To sync quotes, customers, and pricing data between Kalkulator™ and your Kontrol™ dashboard, connect your account.
- 1Open Kalkulator™ > Settings > Kontrol™ Sync
- 2Enter your Kontrol™ shop URL (e.g., yourshop.kontraktr.io)
- 3Sign in with your Kontrol™ email and password
- 4Tap 'Authorize' to grant Kalkulator™ access
- 5Your pricing matrix, customer list, and ink library sync automatically
Once connected, any quote you build in Kalkulator™ can be pushed to Kontrol™ as a draft job with one tap. Your front desk sees it immediately.
Step 4 — Sync a quote to Kontrol™
After building a quote, tap the sync icon in the top-right corner. Choose 'Push to Kontrol™' and select the customer from your synced list (or create a new one). The quote becomes a draft job in Kontrol™ with all line items, quantities, and pricing pre-filled. Your team can review, adjust, and convert it to an active job from the dashboard.
Offline mode
Kalkulator™ works fully offline. Quotes built without internet are stored locally and sync automatically when you reconnect. This is especially useful at trade shows or customer sites where Wi-Fi is unreliable.
