What are shortcodes?
Shortcodes are special tags like {{customer_name}} that get replaced with real data when a message is sent. Use them in automation templates, email subjects, and notification bodies to personalize every message automatically.
Job shortcodes
{{job_number}} — Job ID (e.g., #1042) {{job_title}} — Job description {{due_date}} — Job due date {{old_status}} — Previous status {{new_status}} — New status after the change
Customer shortcodes
{{customer_name}} — Customer company name {{contact_name}} — Primary contact's name {{portal_url}} — Link to the customer portal
