Multi-Location Setup
How to add shop locations, assign users and equipment, and switch between locations in Kontrol™.
When to use multi-location
Multi-location is for shops that operate out of two or more physical locations. Each location gets its own set of jobs, equipment, and team members. Reports and analytics can be filtered by location. This feature is plan-gated — check your subscription tier in Settings.
Adding a location
- 1Go to Settings → Locations
- 2Click "Add Location" and fill in the name, address, phone, and timezone
- 3Upload a logo or icon for the location (optional but helpful for quick identification)
- 4Click Save
Assigning users
In Settings → Locations, click on a location and go to the Team tab. Add users who work at that location. Users can be assigned to multiple locations. Their job visibility and production queue are filtered to their assigned locations.
Switching locations
Use the location picker in the sidebar to switch between locations. When you switch, the dashboard, job list, production queue, and analytics update to show data for the selected location only. Admins can also view "All Locations" for a combined view.
Per-location resources
Each location can have its own equipment (presses, dryers, etc.), inventory, and production capacity settings. This keeps scheduling accurate — a 6-head press at Location A does not affect capacity calculations at Location B.
