KORA Vizion Quickstart — See Your Shop Run, Live
Set up a living 3D view of your shop floor. Jobs glow on their equipment, operators move as coloured dots, customers can tune in to their own order.
What Vizion actually shows
Every active job lights up the equipment it's running on. Operators wearing a watch (or carrying a phone with KinetiQ enabled) appear as coloured dots that move in real time. Customers can be given a tokenised /live/[token] link that only shows their job + a pixelated background so they can't see other customers' work.
Get your first floor plan in
- 1Open KORA → Vizion in the dashboard sidebar.
- 2If you have no plan yet, you'll see the demo shop. Click 'Edit floor plan' to jump into the editor.
- 3Either scan your shop from mobile (see 'Phone-to-plan scanning' below) or drag equipment onto the canvas manually from the palette.
- 4Set room dimensions (feet) at the top — the default is 60×40, edit to match.
- 5Autosave runs every 800ms — no save button needed. When you come back to Vizion, it picks up the latest plan.
The editor saves to localStorage on your device. To sync the plan across team members, use the Share link button — it encodes the entire plan into a URL anyone can open.
Invite a customer to watch their order
- 1On a job detail page, open the Share menu → 'Let customer watch Vizion'.
- 2Generate a tokenised /live/[token] link. The token scopes the view to just that one job.
- 3Copy the link into your order-confirmation email or SMS.
- 4Customer opens the link on any device — no login. They see your shop, their job highlighted, an ETA badge, and nothing else.
The token is customer-specific. If you reuse it across orders, they'll see the wrong job. Generate a fresh link per order.
Pin Vizion to a shop-floor TV
- 1Open the Vizion page on the TV's browser (Chrome/Edge on a stick PC works great; a Fire TV browser works in a pinch).
- 2Hit the Fullscreen button in the top-right HUD. The whole view (stat pills, overlays, 3D scene) goes edge-to-edge.
- 3Lock the browser in kiosk mode so nobody hits Escape. In Chrome: chrome://flags/#kiosk-mode or launch with --kiosk.
- 4KORA updates equipment status every 15 seconds via SSE — no refresh needed.
For multiple TVs, log each one in as its own read-only viewer account and point each to /motion/vizion. All three update in lockstep.
Toggles worth knowing
The HUD top-right has toggles for: wireframe overlay, always-on labels, fixture lighting, lux heatmap, volumetric god rays (cinematic, optional). The effects cog opens floor materials (grid, raw concrete, polished, tile, epoxy, gloss, tron), tint colour, lighting intensity slider, and fisheye strength. The KORA Lighting pill in the same row shows a 0–100 score against ANSI/IES RP-7 and ISO 3664 for colour-matching work.
