Floor Plan Editor — Keyboard Shortcuts & Power Moves
Every shortcut in the Vizion / Prysm editor. Undo/redo, multi-select, batch ops, measuring, rotation snap, walk-mode, and more.
Move + select
Click an item to select. Shift+click or drag a box around multiple items to multi-select. Arrow keys nudge in 6" steps; Shift+Arrow = 1"; Alt+Arrow = 1'. Alt+drag or middle-click drag pans the 2D canvas. Ctrl/Cmd+A selects everything on the active floor. Esc clears selection.
History + batch ops
Ctrl/Cmd+Z undoes (40-step stack). Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z redoes. Ctrl/Cmd+D duplicates the selection. Delete or Backspace removes. Right-click opens a context menu with Move to floor, Move to room, Change colour, and Rotate 90°.
Rotation + measurement
Press R while items are selected to open the rotation snap dialog. In 3D view, grab the yaw arc on the PivotControls gizmo and drag — snaps to 45° by default, Shift for 15°. The measuring tool (M) prompts two clicks and displays feet/inches between them until dismissed.
View modes
Tab cycles 2D ↔ 3D. In 3D, F toggles fullscreen. The HUD's Orbit/Walk pills switch camera modes — Walk (FPS) needs mouse+keyboard and is hidden on mobile. In Walk, WASD to move, Shift to sprint, Esc to exit. Camera preset angles (top, front, side, 3/4 iso, frame-all) are one click each from the 3D HUD.
Sharing + export
The Share button generates a URL that encodes the entire plan — anyone who opens it sees the same layout. Export → PDF opens a print-ready view with the floor plan, equipment manifest, and KORA scores. Export → MP4 records a cinematic tour (30s default, customisable) including an intro/outro brand card.
