Getting Started with InkRelay™

System requirements

InkRelay™ requires: • Adobe Illustrator CC 2020 or later • Windows 10+ or macOS 10.15+ • An active Kontrol™ subscription or standalone InkRelay™ subscription

Installation

Install InkRelay™ via Adobe's CEP extension system. After installation, the InkRelay™ panel appears under Illustrator's Window > Extensions menu.

1. 1Download the InkRelay™ installer from your account dashboard or the InkRelay™ product page.
2. 2Run the installer — it registers the extension with Adobe's CEP framework.
3. 3Open Adobe Illustrator and go to Window > Extensions > InkRelay™.
4. 4Sign in with your Kontrol™ credentials or enter your standalone license key.

Kontrol™ sync (optional)

If you are a Kontrol™ subscriber, InkRelay™ can sync with your shop data: • Push completed artwork directly to job records • Upload separations and production files to File Manager • Pull mockup templates from AssetLab™ into Illustrator Connect by entering your API credentials in the InkRelay™ settings panel.
