What is Kommunity™?
Kommunity™ is an online space where screen printers share production tips, pricing strategies, troubleshooting advice, and feature requests. It is built into the Kontrol™ platform — no separate registration needed. If you have a Kontrol™ account, you already have forum access.
Step 1 — Access the forum
You can reach Kommunity™ from the sidebar link labeled 'Kommunity™' or by navigating directly to community.kontraktr.io. Sign in with your existing Kontrol™ credentials. Your forum profile uses your display name and avatar from your Kontrol™ account.
Step 2 — Browse categories
The forum is organized into categories to help you find relevant discussions quickly. General Discussion covers shop talk and industry news. Production Tips is for sharing techniques and troubleshooting press issues. Business and Pricing covers quoting, margins, and customer management. Feature Requests is where you suggest and vote on new Kontrol™ features. Show and Tell is for sharing your best prints and shop setups.
Step 3 — Create your first thread
To start a new discussion, pick the appropriate category and tap 'New Thread.' Write a clear, descriptive title — something like 'Best mesh count for discharge ink on dark garments?' works better than 'Help needed.' Add your post body with details, images if relevant, and tags to help others find it. Tap Submit and your thread goes live immediately.

Threads with specific, well-described questions get better answers faster. Include details like ink brand, garment type, and what you have already tried.
Step 4 — Build your reputation
Your reputation score increases when other members upvote your posts and replies. Higher reputation unlocks additional privileges like editing posts, flagging inappropriate content, and accessing moderator tools. You also earn badges for milestones — Newcomer for your first thread, Contributor for 10+ upvoted replies, and specialized badges for expertise in specific categories.
Forum etiquette
Keep discussions constructive and focused on screen printing. Share what works for your shop. When asking for help, provide enough context for others to assist you. When answering, explain your reasoning — not just the answer. Respect other members and their experience levels. The forum is moderated by the Kontraktr team and experienced community members.
