What is 2FA?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) means you need two things to log in: your password plus a 6-digit code from an authenticator app. Even if someone steals your password, they can't get in without your phone.
How to enable 2FA
Go to Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication. Click "Enable 2FA". Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password all work). Enter the 6-digit code to confirm, and 2FA is active.
I lost my authenticator app — how do I log in?
When you set up 2FA, Kontrol™ gives you a set of backup codes. Store these in a safe place. Each code can be used once to bypass 2FA if you lose access to your authenticator app. If you've lost both, contact your account admin.
