Screen QR Tracking — Scan to Burn, Scan to Reclaim
Track every screen frame in your shop with QR code stickers. Two taps per screen lifecycle.
How It Works
Every screen frame in your shop gets a unique QR code sticker. Two scans per screen lifecycle: Scan to Burn links the screen to a job and marks it as BURNED. Scan to Reclaim marks it as AVAILABLE and notifies you if any jobs are waiting for that mesh count.
Printing Labels
- 1Go to Screens in the sidebar
- 2Click Print Labels
- 3Select which screens you want labels for
- 4Choose a size: Small (2×1"), Medium (3×2"), or Sheet (10-up on letter paper)
- 5Click Generate PDF and print
Apply labels with clear packing tape so they survive washout, ink, and general shop abuse.
What's on Each Label
QR code (scannable with any phone camera), screen number (large and readable without scanning), mesh count, and frame size. Everything your screen department needs at a glance.
Auto-Advance
When all screens for a job are burned, the job automatically advances from FILMS to SCREENS status. No manual status change needed — just burn and go.
Screen Dashboard Widget
Add the Screen Inventory widget to your dashboard to see at a glance: how many frames are available vs burned vs on press, breakdown by mesh count, and how many jobs are waiting on screens.
