How to Set Up KrewKast™ on Your Shop TVs
Turn any monitor into a live production dashboard with KrewKast™.
What is KrewKast™?
KrewKast™ is a full-viewport dashboard designed for wall-mounted monitors. It auto-rotates between screens: Job Pipeline, Press Board, KPIs, and Incoming Packages. No interaction needed — just put it on a screen and it runs.
How to set it up
- 1Open a browser on the TV or Chromecast-connected device.
- 2Navigate to your Kontrol™ URL followed by /tv (e.g. app.kontraktr.io/tv).
- 3Log in with any staff account — the display auto-enters full-screen mode.
- 4Use the ?dept=production query parameter to filter by department if needed.
KrewKast™ supports light and dark themes. Add ?theme=light to the URL for a bright display in well-lit shops.
What it shows
Job cards with mockup thumbnails, priority badges, due dates, and status. KPIs including jobs in progress, overdue count, and daily throughput. An announcement ticker with severity levels (Info / Warning / Urgent) for shop-wide messages.
Announcements
Admins and managers can post announcements from the KrewKast™ settings panel. Set the severity level and the message scrolls across the bottom ticker on all connected displays.
